So on the blog we have tried to give as much in the way of resources as we could. The idea was to be able to make a dragon costume by the end of the week. But of course you could make a dragon costume any time you want. Any week can be dragon week π
Jane has made up some masks from some of the links that we gave you earlier on in the week. Here are some of the pictures she took:

This was a simple mask, which involved two layers of mask. You could of course go with just the one layer and colour it in. Here is the template that was used here:

You could go with the basic template and add your own flames and horns on to the main part of the mask. Jane has used an old cereal box to glue the mask template to, but any cardboard that you have should do the job. The dragon costume we are making is made of a lot of scrap materials.
Here is a step by step guide in photos to the making of a mask:

We have had quite a few parcels through, and the air pocket padding has come in useful. It is like bubble wrap (which could also be used for scales as well)

We are hoping that our own costume will be ready by tomorrow, fingers crossed. If you do make a costume don’t forget to share it with us thestoryshedblog@gmail.com
