Any self respecting dragon is going to have a hoard of treasure. They normally have piles of jewels and gold so that they can sleep on them. Of course the bigger the dragon, then the larger the amount of treasure they will have.
I have tried to think of ways of making your own coins for the dragon hoard. I think you could probably make coins out of say playdough, and either leave it as it is or cover it in tin foil or other metallic sweetie wrappers (yes it means collecting them I am afraid). It is possible of course to make all sorts of jewellery from beads and string to paper and string. Perhaps it is time for our dragons of now to be more concerned about the environment.
Have a look around your house, and I am sure you will find things that would be considered to be treasure by a dragon. Just let your imagination run wild.
