(Good witches are also available)
I kindly got the permission of Adele Croxall, who is the artist who painted that lovely witch image. For some reason it made me think of darker witches, but it could well be that the witch here is not a nasty one. I did however feel inspired to write the following poem. So thank you Adele 🙂
She wakes up in the morning and sits upon her broom
For her there is a difference to the saying just use zoom
She flies around the neighbourhood cackling as she goes
With her witchy hat, and black cat, and witchy witchy clothes
Be careful she don’t see you for she may not be so kind
Watch over your shoulder least she comes right up behind
Cause though the spirits rising are here for halloween
If you get her angry than the witchy witch is mean
She’ll turn you into something strange that leaps or crawls or hops
Making the milk curdle and cursing all your crops
So be careful you don’t cross her as it never works out well
And if you see her coming, just turn and run and yell.
