Here are some more prompts from our resident enchanter. We hope you find them helpful in your creative writing 🙂
Eldred the Enchanter (1)
This is the first set of magical prompts from Eldred the Enchanter. Can you make a story/poem/song play out of the prompts he has chosen for you? If you would like you can send them to thestoryshedblog@gmail.com
Radio Course

I have to give you all an apology. Since September of last year I have been on a Radio and Podcasting course. It is a HNC so the first step in getting a degree, and being 54 it is really strange to be back in the classroom. They say that life is one learning journey and they are right of course.
If you ever get a chance to engage with education in something that will make your life better then…do it. Do not hesitate. Do not put it off. Embrace it. Will it be easy…not always. But if you do it there is less chance you will regret it than not doing it.
I believe in you 🙂
That being said how many of you would like to write radio, and in particular radio stuff for kids (and people who are kids at heart)?
Writing prompt Book One

I have put out a free book of writing prompts. I am hoping that people will find them useful for inspiring creative work. Some of them will encourage poetry, others short stories. Some will be pieces of work for places like this site, or sometimes more adult work.
Really speaking the book is a tool to be used in any way that you feel is fitting. I have put this out so that I can pay back a bit for the good fortune I have had over the decades. I want to do what I can to get you working in a wonderful flowing way. Try to put you into a mental state of just giving it a shot.
This will not make you into a world class writer, but it might get you at least moving the pen over the paper 🙂 (if you still use a pen and paper of course). Anyway it is a free download so it’s worth a try right?
What’s the worst that can happen.
